Meetings

King’s Lynn, 2nd September 2017

King’s Lynn was mixed bag. FWJ’s car felt really quick in heat 1 and he was comfortably leading but with 5 to the gearbox exploded. Young Frank looked quick enough too and qualified with a 7th place, with Danny finishing just behind in 8th..

Back in the pits the crew worked hard to change gearbox, then we discovered that young Frank’s car had blown a head gasket so that was his meeting over.

Heat 2 for FWJ… got tangled up early on with Mat and Nigel, losing front shocker, and retired to the infield.

Thankfully it was all in for the final. The track felt good, FWJ got a good start and was into third place before waved yellows behind Craig #55 and Paul #2.

As always at King’s Lynn, the track was watered on the stoppage. The green flag dropped and FWJ with a well timed move pushed Craig and Paul wide before passing, putting him in the lead and going on to take the win.

Danny finished in the top ten too.

Just the National and FWJ started a lap handicap, and luckily there was a waved yellow allowing him to make some ground up. He finished in 8th place behind Danny.

Next stop…. Ipswich and the World Final! See you there!
