Whilst we were travelling to Holland on Friday we received a sad phone call. Our family friend of 36 years Adrian Roberts had been killed in an accident.
Adrian was introduced to the world of Stock Cars during the 1970s, and worked hard all of his life to attend as many meetings as he could. He was one of ‘The Wainmans’ biggest fans and had one of the loudest cheers around the terraces!
Although Adrian didn’t have a big family unit, he’d developed a big group of friends around the raceways and these friendships were very important to him, and we are certain he will be fondly remembered by all those who knew him.
We are thinking about his daughter Samantha at this sad time and hope that friends of ‘Big Ade’ will continue to offer her support at this difficult time.
