It was an average meeting for FWJ at King’s Lynn. Second in his heat, but he didn’t do many laps in the final after suffering damage with a bent back axle and flat tyre. We managed to fix it for the National, and he finished in sixth.
Danny had a better evening with seconnd in the heat, second in the final, and seventh in the national.
Ted is getting to grips with his car a bit now. He had two eighth places in his heat & final, but got tangled in the National and didn’t finish.
We didn’t have any meetings on Sunday, but on Monday Phoebe was at Buxton and the boys were back at Belle Vue.
Phoebe looked quick all day and finished with some really good results. Fifth in Heat 1 and second in Heat 2. In the final she was put in on the first corner and was down to the last car on the grid. She battled back up to second place. Another good race in the national where she finished in third. She is currently second in the points.
On to Belle Vue, and FWJ struggled all meeting until getting the car going a lot better in the National. In his heats he came seventh and fourth, with a fourth place finish in the final, and second in the national.
Danny continued where he left off from King’s Lynn with some good consistent finishes. In both heats he finished third, seventh in the final, followed by another third in the National.
Ted drove well in his first heat, getting to grips with the car and getting fourth, his best result of the day. He got eighth in heat 2. He got a flat tyre in the final and didn’t finish, but managed to finish the national in 12th.
Thanks again to all for your help and support.
