Behind The Scenes

Back to Bradford

For the first time in almost 20 years, F1 stock cars drove around the legendary Odsal Stadium last Sunday due to a brilliant effort by Paul Greenwood in making it happen. It wasn’t a race meeting, just a parade of cars around the track before the rugby game.

Odsal was always an exciting place to race. Every meeting had a great turnout of cars from all over the country. The atmosphere was amazing. I have great memories of watching my dad race there, and then made some of my own. Me and dad were proud to call it our local track. It’s a great pity Danny, Phoebe, and young Frank never got the opportunity. Wouldn’t it be fantastic to get it back!” – FWJ

Looks like someone has just put Stu Smith in the fence…

FWJ had some great battles with Lundy at Bradford, including this one from May 1995.
