Last weekend was a bumper meeting with over 50 BriSCA F1’s booked in to race for WCQ points at Northampton
Frankie and Karl were racing, with Frankie in heat 1 and Karl in heat 2 and the weather was great ………for now!
Frankie went out in heat one and won the race from 2nd placed Colin Goodswen and Mat Newson who was 3rd. Karl went out ion heat 2 and alo qualified for the final finishing 4th in a race won by Tom Harris.
Final time and wow did the weather change, heavy rain meant that there were a lot of ‘brown’ cars racing and in tricky conditions, Frankie finished 7th and Karl 11th with Niels Tesselaar taking the win.
Both drivers made it out for the grand national with Daniel Ford winning and Frankie 4th and Karl 8th.
An entertaining evenings racing and some good WCQ points for both drivers.
