At the end of May we headed across the Irish sea to race in Ireland for the first time at Nutts Corner Raceway. We raced for both the ‘Irish Open’ and ‘Irish Masters’ championships over the weekend.
Frankie, Danny and Karl raced with all 3 drivers adding another track to their ‘Raced At’ list, in what will be the first meeting at this track for the BriSCA F1’s.
We left Silsden on Friday morning heading for Stranraer for the crossing to Northern Ireland.
We all had a brilliant time in Northern Ireland and would love to go back, and the weather stayed fine too which was a bonus!
Thanks as always to Paul Greenwood, Catherine Mann, Sam Wainman & Hilary Prior

And now onto the weekend’s racing action.
Racing was fast, tough but fair all weekend, and the only win we came home with was Danny’s, who won the first race of the day on Sunday.
Frankie managed 8th in the Irish Open on Saturday, and Danny 12th, in a race won by Josh Spiers, well done to him for the great drive.
On Sunday all drivers scored points and in the Irish Masters, Danny finished 9th with Frankie 10th.
Frankie was best placed in the last race of the weekend, finishing 5th behind race winner Henry Robson (who had a great weekend) with Danny and Karl 9th & 10th respectively.
Overall a great weekends racing at a fantastic track in Northern Ireland.
