Not much success for any of the UK drivers in the World 240 Championship.

First race, first corner, FWJ amongst a few others got fenced on the first bend. The front hub got pulled off and the steering broke. So a ‘DNF’.

Danny also got some damage. He smashed the front left brake caliper and disc, but he managed to keep going and got 20th.

Frankie went a bit better in the second race, but had no brakes for second half of race. He finished in 11th, and Danny a few cars behind in 15th.

The last race slightly better. FWJ and Dan were both in the running of winning highest points for overseas driver. Danny pipped Frank to the post by finishing eighth, with his big brother behind him in ninth place.

Danny’s very happy with his car, but Frankie has got some work to do.

Their next race is in Auckland on Saturday, where FWJ will be racing a tank!
